Terms of Service

How tips work
When a supporter tips, the payment is received through our payment processors (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or cryptocurrency). Your 92% share is credited to you and paid out to your connected PayPal or payout wallet, and Tipfall keeps an 8% platform fee. Tipfall is a tipping platform — not a bank.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tipfall (the "Service"), operated by SOCOFEL LLC, a limited liability company organized in the State of Indiana, USA ("Tipfall", "we", "us"). By creating an account, sending a tip, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service is lawful where you live. The Service is not available where prohibited by law.
3. Accounts & creators
Creators sign in via a connected platform (e.g. Discord, Google) and publish a public tip page only after linking and verifying a streaming channel (Twitch, Kick, or YouTube); your handle is taken from that verified channel. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, the security of your account, and all activity under it. You must not impersonate others or claim a channel you do not own.
4. How payments & payouts work
Supporters may tip using a debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or supported cryptocurrencies, processed through our third-party payment processors (including Stripe for cards and wallets). SOCOFEL LLC is the merchant of record for these transactions. Once a payment settles, Tipfall retains a platform fee of 8% and credits the remaining 92%to the creator's balance.
Creators receive their balance to a destination they configure: card, wallet and PayPal tips are paid out to the creator's connected PayPalaccount via PayPal Payouts; cryptocurrency tips are paid out to a cryptocurrency payout wallet the creator provides. Payouts may be automatic or by manual withdrawal, depending on the creator's settings, and may be subject to processing times and minimums.
Cryptocurrency transactions are final and irreversible. Sending to the wrong address, network, or asset will result in permanent loss of funds for which Tipfall is not responsible. Cryptocurrency values are volatile. Network, processor, and exchange fees may apply.
5. Refunds, disputes & chargebacks
Tips are voluntary and are generally final and non-refundable. Cryptocurrency tips cannot be reversed once sent. For card and PayPal tips, a supporter's bank or PayPal may initiate a dispute or chargeback. Where a chargeback, reversal, or refund occurs, the associated amount (including any related fees) may be debited from the creator's balance or recovered from the creator, including after a payout has been made. We may hold, delay, or reverse credits and payouts to manage fraud, disputes, and chargeback risk.
6. Taxes & information reporting
Creators are responsible for all taxes owed on amounts they receive. Because SOCOFEL LLC pays creators, we may be required to collect tax information from you (for example, a Form W-9 for U.S. persons or a Form W-8 for non-U.S. persons) before enabling or continuing payouts, and to issue tax forms (such as a 1099) where required by law. Providing accurate, complete tax information is a condition of receiving payouts.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break any law, sanction, or third-party right;
- launder money, finance illegal activity, or evade sanctions screening;
- defraud, scam, phish, distribute malware, or impersonate others;
- post unlawful, hateful, or sexually exploitative content, or content that violates a platform's or payment provider's rules;
- abuse, attack, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
We may screen transactions and suspend or terminate accounts, withhold or reverse credits, and remove content to enforce these Terms, comply with law, or comply with our payment providers' requirements.
8. Subscriptions & perks
Creators may offer subscription tiers and perks (e.g. Discord roles). Perks are provided by the creator, not by Tipfall; we are not responsible for a creator's delivery of perks.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tipfall is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, for lost funds resulting from user error or crypto-network behavior, or for the acts of creators, supporters, or third-party processors and platforms.
Tipfall operates a custodial model: funds are received and held in transit before being credited and paid out. Tipfall is not a bank or deposit institution, and balances held in transit are not government-insured. You use the Service understanding how this works.
10. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date, and continued use means acceptance. We may suspend or end the Service, or any account, at our discretion.
